How do I add a new habit?

Tap the + button in the top right of the Habits screen, choose an emoji, name, frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly), and — for daily habits — which days it's active. Tap Save.

Why didn't my streak count today's completion?

Streaks uses your device's local calendar day to decide when "today" starts and ends. If your streak looks off, check that your device's date, time, and time zone are set correctly (Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically) and that you're on the latest version of the app from the App Store.

My habit shows as missed, but I completed it. What happened?

Make sure you tapped the checkmark, not just opened the habit. If you toggled it off by accident, tap it again to re-mark it complete. If the issue persists after force-quitting and reopening the app, please email us with your device model and iOS version.

How do active days work?

For daily habits, you can restrict which days of the week count (e.g. only Mon/Wed/Fri for a gym routine). On days that aren't active, your streak is neither broken nor advanced — it simply skips ahead to the next scheduled day.

How do I restore my Premium purchase on a new device?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

How does backup and restore work?

If iCloud backup is enabled in Settings, your data automatically syncs across your devices signed into the same Apple ID. You can also manually export a JSON backup file and import it later, or on another device, from Settings → Export/Import Backup.

How do I delete a habit?

Open the habit, tap the overflow menu, and choose "Delete." You can also archive a habit instead of deleting it, which preserves its history but removes it from your daily list — archived habits can be found and permanently deleted from Settings → Archived Habits.

How do I turn off reminders?

Open the habit's detail screen and disable its reminder toggle, or turn off notifications for Streaks entirely in iOS Settings → Notifications → Streaks.

Can I use Streaks on multiple devices?

Yes — enable iCloud backup in Settings on each device signed into the same Apple ID to keep your habits in sync.
